This one is a lot of fun. Although you can still die from explosions or bullets, you become completely immune to damage from being hit by cars. In addition, whenever you have this activity active, about half the drivers start driving almost as insanely as you do.
Alright, so the real trick here is, before you get to a scoring area, grab a police car. When you get to the red zone, speed up as fast as possible and run headlong into another car coming at you. If you do this right, you will get ejected from the car. This will be a huge money maker for you. I've gotten anywhere from $30K all the way up to $LOTS (which means more than the amount you need to complete the level in one shot). I have seen this hit as much as $200K before.
You can either get back in your police car for another run, or just do some car diving. When the scoring area moves, make sure to drop by Rim Jobs to fix up the police car before going to the next area. Ideally, you don't want it blowing up on you before you make enough cash to finish the activity.
This activity, in my opinion, can lead to some of the most memorable times in the game. I was working this one on an overpass where the freeway crossed underneath the road. I took a dive in front of a speeding car and was flung high into the air. When I came down, I hit the top of the guard wall and slid off of it down to the freeway below, where I landed on the hood of a police car, which again sent me flying along the freeway. Needless to say, that one finished off the activity for me, I made a fortune on that one hit. Good times.
